Apollo Care

What happens after the keys

A home is judged by how it is looked after once it is paid for. Apollo Care is one place to send a request, a stated response, and a warranty that is written down before you move in.

Two kinds of owner

Coverage

If you live in your Apollo home. The home is enrolled with the New Home Warranty Program of Manitoba: one year on workmanship and materials and five years on major structural defects, backed by the program. Apollo signs the possession certificate with you on the day you take the keys.

If you own an Apollo home and rent it out. The program's one-year workmanship coverage does not apply to tenant-occupied homes, so Apollo provides it directly: one year on workmanship and materials, from Apollo, with the same single point of contact.

The warranty certificate issued for each home governs. Normal wear, tenant damage and owner alterations are not covered.

Making a request

One place, one promise

  • Send a request through the contact form with your address and a photograph.
  • We acknowledge it within [RESPONSE TIME] and tell you when we will be there.
  • Emergencies affecting heat, water or safety are handled the same day.
  • We come back at 30 days and at one year, whether or not you have asked.

Looking after it

The homeowner manual

Every Apollo home is handed over with a manual: the specification of what went into it, the finishes and where they came from, the mechanical systems and their maintenance, and the seasonal checks that keep a Winnipeg house sound. Keep it with the house; the next owner will want it.
